Si Vico, Tinira Niyo! Si Koko, Dinedma niyo?' Radio Host, Binanatan ang NBI!

Hindi nagustuhan ng radio host at pro-administration blogger na si RJ Nieto (aka Thinking Pinoy) ang naging hakbang ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na padalhan ng subpoena si Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto dahil sa posibleng paglabag nito sa batas.

“Dinedma si Koko tapos Tinira si Vico. Hindi ako fan ni Vico, tinira ko nga yan sa Regent issue. Pero my gahd, this govt is digging its own grave,” sabi ni Nieto.

Ayon sa NBI, pindalhan na ng liham si Mayor Vico para humarap sa opisina ng ahensiya sa Abril 7.
“For LGU officials for disobeying national government policies or directives in imposing qurantines under the Bayanihan to Heal As One Act,” paliwanag ni NBI Deputy Director and spokesman Ferdinand Lavin.

Magugunita na anging laman din ng balita kamakailan si Senador Koko Pimentel dahil sa paglabag nito sa community quarantine matapos samahan ang kanyang asawang manganganak sa ospital kahit na may sintomas na siya ng coronavirus disease 2019 (covid-19). Matatandaang kinundina na ng Makati Medical Center (MMC) ang ginawa ni Senador Pimentel.

“Last night (March 24, 2020), the strict infection and containment protocol of the Makati Medical center Delivery Room Complex (MMC-DR) were breached by a Senator of the Republic of the Philippines.
Senator Aquilino Martin D. Pimentel III, whose result for COVID-19 testing turned out to be positive, brought his wife to the hospital for delivery via ceasarean section. By being in MMC, Senator Pimentel violated his Home Quarantine Protocol, entered the premises of the MMC-DR, thus, unduly exposed healthcare workers to possible infection. As a result, a number of our nurses and doctors may need to be quarantined which will further deplete the dwindling workforce of the hospital. The entire delivery room complex will have to under go decontamination and disinfection before it can be used.

We denounce the irresponsible and reckless action of the senator. He added to the burden of a hospital trying to respond in its most competent and aggressive manner to cope with the daunting challenges of this covid-19 outbreak. More than anyone else, Mr. Pimentel, should have realized the ardent desire of every well-meaning Filipino and every dedicated healthcare institution to contain the spread of the infection. His admonition for everyone to observe social distancing, enhance community quarantine measures, washing of hands and personal hygiene are nothing but empty rhetoric because he himself violated all those,” sabi ng MMC.
