“(The committee should determine if ABS-CBN and the Lopez companies) unjustly benefited from the loans condoned by the DBP to the prejudice of this government… It is only reasonable and prudent on our side in Congress… to look into the legitimacy of the activities of its major stockholders and its affiliated companies because these entities are the ones in control of the company,” sabi ni Congresswoman Bautista.

“The Lopez Group of Companies never paid a single centavo. It was condoned by the government. Who condoned it? Who authorized it? I really do not know. But maybe one of these days, I’ll start to dig… Why do you have to give away money to people who are rich? Tapos mag-publish ng mga newspaper with all their protestations and all their grievances for the poor and for…It’s hypocrisy… Lopez Group of Companies.

“If it’s not economic sabotage, what is it? Uminit ang ulo ko. That’s economic sabotage and I would like remind you that’s non-bailable,” saad ni Pangulong Duterte noong 2018 naman.
