In an Instagram post, the senator posted a screenshot of the comment telling him and her 19-year-old daughter to kill themselves.

“Pakamatay ka na Kiko ng matapos na problema mo sa (gobyerno), isama mo na yung anak mong si Frankie,” the comment reads.

Sen. Pangilinan replied to the basher, “I re-report ikaw at ang account mo for hate speech. Bawal 'yan. Mag-ingat sa mga iligal na post sa social media. Fyi.”

The politician and spouse of Megastar Sharon Cuneta also expressed that Instagram should take the necessary action against hate speech. “Hetong hate speech na ito dapat nire-report. Hindi dapat hinahayaan ang mga bitiw na salita na naguudyok ng pananakit o pagpapatay. Instagram kumilos kayo,” he wrote in the caption.

It can be recalled that Frankie has recently been vocal on the rape_ culture and victim blaming. She maintained that women should not be told how to dress.
