Sinalakay ng mga tauhan ng Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) ang tirahan ni Maritess Santos David alias Teacher Laly.
Ayon sa kapulisan, si Teacher Laly daw ang suspected “armourer” ng Communist Party of the Philippines – New People’s Army – Special Partisan Unit (CPP-NPA-SPARU).
Hindi nadatnan sa bahay si Teacher Laly.
Nakuha naman sa tirahan ni Teacher laly ang isang M1 cal. 30 carbine; isang M2 cal.30 automatic carbine; isang Bushmaster rifle; isang M16 ELISCO Rifle; tatlong Cal .45 Pistols; 38 rounds of live ammunition; siyam na 40mm grenade; 15 Improvised Anti-personnel mine; 1 Improvised Anti-troop carrier mine; 3 improvised Claymore Mine; 1 pc Claymore mine; 1 Laptop (SAMSUNG) with charger; 4 na Envelope na may Subversive Documents and streamers; ay mga materyales sa paggawa ng Improvised Explosive Device.
“The discovery of this clandestine communist terrorist armory bolsters earlier assessment by CIDG that the CPP-NPA is maintaining staging areas and weapons storage in CALABARZON for its urban hit squads to launch attacks in Metro Manila,” sabi ni PNP Chief PGen Debold Sinas.
