Pro-Duterte physician slams sachet of rice & patis as part of feeding program of Leni-Kiko volunteers for lack of nutritional value?

A photo of a man holding ready to cook two small sachets of rice and patis (fish sauce), ingredients to prepare porridge, has been raising the eyebrows of Pinoy netizens on social media.

A cursory look of the photo tells us that the small sachets of rice and patis for porridge came from the Leni-Kiko camp as the text plastered at the front part read: Lugaw para sa Pamilya at the top, Leni-Kiko below. The sachets also includes instruction how to prepare the porridge and claimed that one sachet is good for 3-4 persons.

The photo has been the butt of jokes on social media, particularly on Twitter and Facebook.

Of course, Leni-Kiko’s supporters dismissed the gimmick as nothing but black propaganda pulled off by the camp of the rivals of the Leni-Kiko tandem.

However, PAB’s (Pinoy Ako Blog) tweet confirmed that indeed the controversial sachets of rice for porridge indeed came from one of Leni-Kiko volunteers and not the handiwork of their bashers.

On that note, a pro-Duterte physician and a social media influencer named Dr. Ethel Pineda can’t help but took a swipe at the volunteers behind the “Lugaw para sa Pamilya” initiative of the Robredo camp.

On Facebook, Dr. Pineda wrote:

Nako eh mukhang di man lang kayo nagtanong sa nutritionist.

Lugaw na may PATIS para sa mga bata?

Ang daming pwede ipakain na fortified with protein, vitamins and minerals. Hindi mahal. Powdered malunggay. Mongo.

Hindi yung kung ano na lang ang maibigay.

BTW, if you doubt, one sachet is good for 3-4 persons, this pro-Leni Chef made a Tiktok video to silence critics that indeed 100g rice is enough for 3-4 person as the sachet claimed.

Reaction?
