A defeated senatorial candidate is now trying to hitch the bandwagon and win media mileage, perhaps looking ahead 2025, courtesy of incoming PCOO Secretary Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles of the Luminous by challenging her to a debate on Martial Law.
For context, Atty. Luke Espiritu was reacting to incoming PCOO Secretary Atty. Trixie’s statement that that the Martial Law period should be “open to debate.” [Link here]
With that being said, Bicolano vlogger, CPA practitioner in the US and writer Edwin Jamora made a counter dare to Atty. Luke Espiritu.
How? Jamora wants Atty. Luke to instead challenge Senator Juan Ponce Enrile to a debate on Martial Law and go for the jugular.
Jamora wrote that he is confident Atty. Trixie can easily trounce Atty. Luke in a debate but he wants to see Atty. Luke test his mettle against the so-called Immortal One and the administrator of Marcos’ Martial Law and and Minister of Defense.
Jamora asked his FB followers if they notice how fearless and wild these anti-Martial Law crybabies are when they cherrypick who to debate with on Martial Law?
Jamora insinuated that Atty. Luke is challenging the incoming PCOO Secretary and not Senator Enrile because he is too scared, trembling even upon the thought of crossing swords with a brilliant lawyer and debater like the former Senate President.
