Manliguez was driving on his way home along Tadeco Road in Barangay San Francisco when he was waylaid by two assassins at around 1:30 p.m. He was brought to Rivera Medical Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival, Maj. Yolanda Castro, a church member can’t believe what happened to their Pastor. He claims that it was a mistaken identity. And Manliguez doesn’t deserve what happened. “Dapat sinigurado muna kung iyon ba talaga patayin nila, kasi wala talagang atraso ang pastor namin,” said Castro.
