When chines drug trafficker are free to go back home while there was a filipina suffer a death penalty by the chines law.

At least 118 kilos of shabu valued at P802.4 million were seized by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Quezon City yesterday.

The drugs were seized following a sting at a townhouse along Tabayoc street in Barangay Sienna at around 2 a.m., where a Chinese man identified as Zhang Yun Quan was arrested.?
Zhang was apprehended after he sold two kilos of shabu – with an estimated street value of P13.6 million – to a PDEA operative posing as a drug buyer.
When PDEA anti-narcotics officers raided the townhouse, they found some 116 kilos of shabu worth P788.8 million concealed in Chinese tea packages and biscuit cans.?

PDEA director general Aaron Aquino said they are verifying if Zhang is the same person who was involved in the shipment of 355 kilos of shabu worth P2.4 billion placed inside magnetic lifters that were found at the Manila International Container Port in 2018.

Several empty biscuit cans were found at the townhouse, an indication that Zhang may have already disposed of some of the drugs.

Director Joel Plaza, head of PDEA’s National Capital Region field office, said Zhang has been under surveillance for the past two weeks.
“He has been staying in the said apartment that allegedly served as a drug warehouse,” Plaza said in a report.

A follow-up investigation is ongoing to determine if Zhang has other accomplices in bringing the drugs into the country.

The suspect is facing charges for the sale and possession of prohibited narcotics in violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
