Binay, Pinagtanggol ang OFW na Nambabastos sa DU30 Govt!

Kahapon lumabas sa balita ang hakbang ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) na ipa-deport ang OFW caregiver na si Elanel Egot Ordidor dahil sa pambabastos nito sa gobyerno at pagsasalita ng mga hindi kanais-nais laban kay Pangulong rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Ayon pa sa DOLE, gumagamit pa daw ito ng ng maraming social media accounts para manira sa pamahalaan. Ilan sa mga account daw ni Ordidor ay Mha Lan Dee, Linn Silawan at Hampas Lupa. Miyembro din daw ito ng grupo na may layunin na siraan ang Pangulo at pabagsakin ang administrasyon. Balak ng ahensiya ng magsampa ng cyber liberl sa nasabing OFW.

“We are constrained to act for the deportation of a Filipina working as caregiver in Taiwan for the crime of cyber libel for willful posting of nasty and malevolent materials against President Duterte on Facebook intended to cause hatred amidst the global health crisis brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The caregiver, Elanel Egot Ordidor, is employed in Yunlin County, Taiwan. On 20 April 2020, we went to her workplace to enlighten her that her actions amounted to a crime for which she might be prosecuted both in Taiwan and the Philippines.

…It has come to our knowledge that Ms. Ordidor is using several social media accounts, among which are Lenale Elanel Egot, Mha Lan Dee, Linn Silawan and Hampas Lupa and has a group organized to discredit and malign the President and destabilize the government.

Due to her acts, POLO coordinated with her broker and employer on her deportation on the basis of the gravity of Ordidor’s offense under Philippine Law. The sharing and posting of such videos are punishable under Cyber libel under Republic Act No. 10175.” sabi sa pahayag ng DOLE.

Ang aksyon na ito ng DOLE ay hindi nagustuhan ni Senador Nancy Binay. Banat ni Binay sa DOLE, huwag daw maging makapili. Ang terminong “makapili” ay ang itinatawag sa mga Pilipinong nagta-traydor sa kapwa Pilipino noong panahon ng Hapon.

“Paalala lang po sa mga labor attaches na kayo ang kanlungan at sandigan ng ating mga OFW. Wag maging Bagong Makapili sa harap ng mga bagong bayani,” boladas ni Binay.
Si Nancy ay anak ni dating vice president Jejomar Binay ni tinalo ni Pangulong Duterte noong 2016 presidential elections.
