“The video and parts of the story that Rappler did not show and tell because..well, bec. Rappler is who it is they are.
The police was assigned to Dasma and was asked by the Dasmarinas tanod himself bec the household helpers (and members) were not following quarantine guidelines.
When police and tanod arrived, Mr Parra who appeared drunk started to curse them
And gave them the finger. This led to the incident where police was going to handcuff Mr Parra and he was resisting arrest.”
ani PCOO Usec. Badoy.

“It is in the best interest of public health, order and safety that the PNP is enforcing ECQ rules and local ordinances to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Initially, it was gathered that upon the request of village officials, Barangay Dasmariñas Tanod and Makati Police where conducting roving patrol when they accosted a househelper outside the house of Mr. Parra without face mask. The househelper was asked for an ID for issuance of violation citation ticket. The househelper went inside the house to get ID but , instead, a seemingly intoxicated Mr. Parra without upper garment, came out and confronted the police and tanod with curses and the finger.

This led to the point where police attempted to restrain Mr. Parra but he resisted, as seen in a video footage taken by the Tanod of Barangay Dasmariñas.
Makati Police is now preparing appropriate charges.
Let me emphasize that Police operations to enforce the law are strictly guided by the Revised Police Operational Procedures that every police officer making arrests or police intervention should strictly observe.
Observance of the Police Operational Procedures establishes presumption of regularity in the performance of duty in any police operation.” sabi ng PNP.
