'Mapanagot ang mga Kongresista' Leni, Nagbanta ng Paghihiganti?

Ngayong araw ay nagdesisyon ng ang mababang kapulungan ng kongreso upang huwag bigyan ng prangkisa ang ABS-CBN.

Dahil sa nangyari, nagbigay ng reaksyon si Vice President Leni Robredo sa nangyari sa Kapamilya network. Para kay Robredo, dapat daw tandaan ng mga tao ang mga pangalan ng mga kongresista na nagbasura sa franchise application ng istasyon.

“Tandaan natin ang mga panagalan ng kongresista at opisyal na tumaliwas sa ating mga paniniwala upang mapanagot sila gamit ang mga prosesong pangdemokrasya… Malinaw ang mga aral ng kasaysayan: May kabayaran ang bawat pagmamalabis. May hangganan ang anumang paniniil,” sabi ni Robredo.

Kanina ay umabot sa 70 na kongresista ang bumoto para ibasura ang franchise application ng Kapamilya network. 11 naman ang gustong mabigyan ng prangkisa ang istasyon. Habang 2 naman ang nag-inhibit at 1 ang abstention.

Base sa report ng Technical Working Group’s (TWG) Committee, may mga nakitang mga pagsuway ang ABS-CBN sa kanilang prangkisa. Ilan sa mga ito ay ang tax avoidance scheme, hindi maayos na labor practices, at marami pang iba. Hindi rin daw pwedeng iboladas ang press freedom sa pag-a-apply ng prangkisa.
