Nagsinungaling? Angel Locsin, Pinanganak daw noong Martial Law!

Kagabi ay nagsalita si ABS-CBN actress Angel Locsin sa isang vigil matapos ibasura ng kongreso ang aplikasyon ng Kapamilya network para sa kanilang prangkisa.

Isa sa mga tinalakay ni Locsin ay ang Martial Law. Ayon sa aktres, pinanganak daw siya noong panahon ng batas militar.

“Ipinanganak ako noong panahon ng martial law, at lagi kong nakikita sa mga balita noon na ‘Never again.’… Nakikita ko, nababasa ko sa history books. Lumaki ako na nababasa ko. Ewan ko lang ngayon sa ganitong generation,” sabi ni Angel.

Pero sinaliksik ng ilang netizens kung totoo ba ang sinasabi ni Locsin. Base sa mga lumabas sa Google searches, pinanganak si Locsin noong April 23, 1985 habang ang Batas Militar ay inalis noong 1981. Ibig sabihin 4 na taon nang walang martial law noong pinanganak si Locsin.

Ang franchise application ng istasyon ay hindi inaprubahan ng kongreso kahapon dahil sa mga isyung kinakasangkutan ng Kapamilya network. Ilan sa mga akusasayon sa ABS-CBN ay ang mga maling labor practices hanggang sa tax avoidance schemes. Banat pa ng kongreso, hindi maikokonekta ang isyu ng prangkisa sa kalayaan sa pamamahayag.
