Sa isang social media post, ibinahagi ni Presidential Communication Operations Office Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy ang mensahe ni Lt Gen Antonio Parlade laban sa mga leftist congressmen o mas kilala sa tawag na Makabayan bloc.
Nasabing mensahe, hinamon ni Parlade ang mga makakaliwang mambabatas ng debate upang maisiwalat na raw ang katotohanan.
Inisa-isa din ni Parlade ang diumano’y koneksyon ng mga ilang mambabatas sa Makabayan bloc sa teroristang grupo na New People’s Army (NPA).

You were being challenged to denounce the CPP NPAs violent atrocities by Usec Badoy.
How difficult is it to say you are not communists? Let’s end this hypocrisy now without you hostaging our country’s budget.We have been challenging you to a debate even before the creation of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict. What do you stand to lose if you take the challenge?
Lets pursue the truth behind all your attacks and opposition to NTF ELCAC.
A former comrade of yours- a senior cadre of the CPP, has tagged each of you as Communists through and through.
With an open and public debate, you can very well defend yourselves and clear your names.In that forum, you can tell the nation you are not behind the deceptive recruitment and killings our children.
Who knows- you may be right in your constant allegations that it is the AFP behind these killings. In such a forum, you will be able to let us know.Rep Castro, you were tagged as a member of the National Teachers Bureau under the National United Front Commission of the CPP.
Rep Zarate, you were also tagged by your former colleague as also a member of the NUFC CPP. He claims this is why you have the authority to meet with top CPP NPAs in Mindanao and anywhere to discuss your directives with them.

Or, having dealt with lies and deception, you no longer have the capacity to tell the truth? Just the 280 Twitter spasms where you can hide what you mean like the coward you are.You have all been tagged as Red by your fellow comrades- not by the government.
So if you have been exposed and now feel threatened like you claim to be DESPITE the Supreme Court throwing out your redtagging cases against govt and declaring your claims as absolute nonsense, don’t blame us.
And don’t hostage our agencies’ budgets.Do not obstruct programs that will make lives better for the most vulnerable among us who have been exploited by the CPP NPA NDF and therefore, programs that have the power to end this insurgency that has brought so much tragedy to our country.
