Naglabas ng pahayag ang social media page ng Surigao Del Sur Police Provincial Office (SDSPPO) kaugnay sa bagong kabalbalan na ginawa ng mga New People’s Army (NPA).
Ayon sa ulat ng SDSPPO, isang guro ag sugatan matapos umatake ang mga pesteng komunista. Tinamaan sa ulo ang guro na nagdadala lang ng module.

Awasian, Tandag City, Surigao del Sur while bringing with him modules intended for his students when Communist Terrorists Group (CTGs) mistakenly identified him as one of the government troops and suddenly snipe him hitting his head.
SDSPPO STRONGLY CONDEMNED THIS BARBARIC ACT OF THE NPAs.” sabi ng SDSPPO.
