Sa kanilang social media account, nilinaw ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na wala silang nakuhang mensahe mula sa kampo ni Vice President Leni Robredo tungkol sa rescue efforts.
“Here at the General Headquarters from where all directives to deploy disaster responders emanate, no requests or information of distress calls were received from the Honorable Vice President,” sabi sa Twitter Account ng AFP.
Magugunita na noong kasagsagan ng rescue at relief operations ng Duterte Administration para sa mga residenteng apektado ng Bagyong Rolly at Uysses, sinabi ni Robredo na nakipag-coordinate daw siya sa mga militar.
“Our prayers for Cagayan and Isabela. Reading posts now of people asking to be rescued. We deployed our security team to coordinate with AFP all the calls for rescue we are reading now. Will be monitoring and will post updates,” boladas ni Robredo.
“Nakaabang ngyn sa kalsada yung Marines at addl Army kaso d sila makatawid ng Alcala hanggang leeg tubig, pahupain lang nila konti para makalagpas mga truck nila wt rubber boats. Yung Air Force nag deploy na din po rescue units sa Ilagan City na binabaha na din daw po,” dagdag pa ni Robredo sa hiwalay na social media post.
Ang mga pinaggagawa ni Robredo nitong mga nakaraang araw ay hindi nagustuhan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
“While you were making calls, nagche-check ka pakunwari… Alam mo ‘yung mga military hindi ‘yan maniwala sa iyo because tama sila you are not in the line of authority basta ganun. Wala kang… Times of emergency, ako lang pati ang military. It’s between me and military pagka pulis. Iyan lang sila kami mag-ano…I would tell the Filipino people right now that you are a dishonest person… She cannot pretend ignorance about that. That’s why I said she was lying. She was a liar,” resbak ni Pangulong Duterte.
