It seems to me that Duterte will get to be one of the great presidents of this country.
This is the emphatic assertion of Atty. Ahmed Paglinawan aka agp of the Luminous in his latest FB post regarding President Duterte.
Atty. Paglinawan remarked that any president who survives a major global disaster is bound to be great by default.
Any president who survives a major global disaster is bound to be great by default. War, famine and pandemic hammer on such leaders with great might. Only the tough remain. And they still have a country to run. And every citizen to help to the finish line.
Atty. Paglinawan added that PNoy blew his chance for greatness by mishandling the Yolanda disaster.
The Yolanda disaster was a comparable disaster. Except that Noynoy was a moron; and his DILG secretary, at the helm of the disaster efforts then, an idiot. They completely fucked it up, I thought they were twins. So much for that.
Atty. Paglinawan said that PRRD is not yet there but he strongly believed it is just a matter of time regardless how he will perform as a senator.
Greatness. Duterte is getting there. That’s why I was sure he won’t run for the Vice Presidency. It’s a useless position. But the senate? Now we’re talking. Talk about if-you-cant-run-the-country-up-top-then-get-a-handle-on-the-purse kind of thing. Good plan. I like it.
I hope he does too. Because running for the senate, having seen how shamelessly it works, is either a demolish-and-rebuild-from-the-ground job; or an ego suicide plan.
Whichever he chooses, he is already great.
However, there is a caveat.
It’s up to him to fuck it up. Which, no doubt, he can.
In just 2 hours, 4,000 reactors seem to agree with Atty. Paglinawan that President Duterte will get to be one of the great presidents of this country.

Agree! Marcos and Duterte are great Presidents! Sad to say… no other than… they are not perfect but delivered well! Love for the country and the Filipinos are their first and foremost!
Just cant imagine how this pandemic would be if the president is not Duterte. Not perfect, but good. With all the vaccinations around the country, wala akong masabi kungdi, GREAT!!! May kasama pang Build3 on the side. May pa national ID pa, ect….. Number 1 senator on my list.
