Atty. Ahmed aka agp of the Luminous chided Kim Chiu on Facebook for chastising a netizen who tweeted he had goosebumps reading Leni Robredo’s birthday message to Kim Chiu.

I assumed you have read the screenshot of Kim Chiu’s tweet reply to the lucky netizen who merited her attention, we may now move forward to the FB post of Atty. Ahmed of the Luminous who lectured Ms. Chiu that making remarks that netizens have no right to comment on Leni Robredo’s birthday message isn’t correct.
Why? According to Atty. Ahmed, the moment she posted the video message and even made it public, she opened an opportunity for the public to comment.
Atty. Ahmed did caution Ms. Chiu from making allegation because in the first place, she brought it upon herself by posting the video message on social media, hence Leni has been at the receiving end of criticism. Atty. Ahmed coaxed his followers to explain to Ms. Chiu what is the meaning of “fair comment”.
So what is “fair comment”? Here’s what Wikipedia says: Fair comment is a legal term for a common law defense in defamation cases (libel or slander). It is referred to as honest comment in some countries.
