“Nagpapasalamat tayo sa INC, sa Kapatiran, dahil pumayag na po sila. Inoffer po nilang gamiting ang Philippine Arena para magserve sa Bulacan at Region 3,” sabi ni Dizon.
Bukod sa Philippine Arena, balak din ng Duterte Administration na gamiting bilang quarantine facilties ang 12 pang gusali. Ito ay ang Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Forum Halls, the World Trade Center, Rizal Memorial Coliseum, FTI facility sa Taguig City, Quezon Institute, PhilSports Arena sa Pasig, Filinvest Tent sa Alabang, Duty-Free Philippines sa Parañaque, Amoranto Sports Complex sa Quezon City, open areas sa Quezon Memorial Circle, at Veterans Memorial Medical Center.
Sinimulan na ng pamahalaan na i-convert ang PICC Forum Halls, the World Trade Center, at Rizal Memorial Coliseum
para maging siolation facilities at inaasahang matatapos ito sa ika-12 ng Abril. Tinatayang 1,950 na katao ang kayang pagsilbihan ng mga nasabing lugar.
Magugunita na sinabi ni National Task Force (NTF) COVID-19 chief implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez, Jr. na sisimulan ng gobyerno ang mass testing sa mga suspected coronavirus patients sa ika-14 ng Abril.
“We are asking the DOH to expedite other hospitals’ requests for accreditation for testing so we will have other capabilities for testing… On massive testing for PUIs (patients under investigation) and PUMs (patients under monitoring), we are also determined to fast-track the accreditation of substantial laboratories so we can start the massive testing of PUIs and PUMs. We expect by April 14 we shall able to start massive testing,” sabi ni COVID-19 chief implementer Galvez.
